Teresa Gierzyńska

Artist working in photography who makes use of her family archive, found photographs, postcards and press clips. Among her photographic series are the following O niej (About Her), Podróże (Journeys), O świetle (On Light). Her works are in numerous public and provate collections, including Muzeum Sztuki w Łodzi (Art Museum, Łódź), Center for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw. She exhibited internationally. 2014 saw two major presentations of her work: Nad rzeką, której nie ma (By the River that Does Not Exist), BWA Sokół, Nowy Sącz and Dotyk (Touch), Galeria Pola Magnetyczne.
