Ph.D. student in the Section of Film and Visual Culture at the Institute of Polish Culture, member of the Theory of Moving Image Research Team. He graduated from psychology and cultural studies. His principal research interests include visual study, film theory and relationships between visuality and politics. In his dissertation he aims to examine the category of „pro-development shaming” in Polish visual culture after 1989. Author of numerous articles and film reviews, published among others in „Więź”, „Res Publica”, „mała kultura współczesna”, „Kultura Liberalna”, „Filmweb.pl”, „Gazeta Wyborcza”.
