Agnieszka Więckiewicz
(from 2021 Sobolewska). A literary and cultural studies scholar. Graduate of the Institute of Polish Culture at Warsaw University and Langues, Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères at the Sorbonne in Paris. Doctoral student at the École Doctorale IV: Civilisations, cultures, littératures et sociétés at the Sorbonne and at the Doctoral School in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw. Author of the book Images of Blackness. Imperial imagination and racial difference in German culture of the 19th and 20th centuries. Seven sketches from the anthropology of hostility (2020). She has published, among others, in "Texts Second," "Views. Theories and Practices of Visual Culture," "Theoretical Practice," and "Dialogue." She collaborates with the literary-critical magazine "Small Format". Laureate of the Diamond Grant (2018-2022), two-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Member of Collegium Invisibile and tutor of the National Fund for Children.
