Assistant professor, head of the Department of Aesthetics in the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw. Main area of interest: modern art theory and aesthetics, including problems of representation and relationship between art and nature. His major publications include: Estetyka ogrodu. Między sztuką a ekologią [Garden Aesthetics: Between Art and Ecology] (2016), Iluzja w malarstwie. Próba filozoficznej interpretacji [Illusion in Painting. A Philosophical Interpretation] (2010); he also published journal articles in Etyka, Kultura Współczesna and Przegląd Kulturoznawczy among others.
