Paweł Starzec

Photographer, sociologist, university teacher. Author of long-term documentary projects focusing on visualising broader processes through their consequences and effects. Associate Dean of the Faculty of Design at SWPS University and head of the Communication Design specialisation at the School of Form USWPS. As a sociologist, he researches images, contemporary iconographies, visual narratives and semiology. Creator of workshop programmes, co-founder of the art and education collective Azimuth Press, previously also of the foundation Paper Beats Stone. Co-founder of the Public Protest Archive.
