Sylwia Papier

Ph.D. candidate in cultural studies at the Jagiellonian University. In her research she follows how new media and digital transfer practices update the meaning of the testimony, and the turn from the first-hand witness speaking and performing into holographic representations. She is a co-editor of books: Identyfikacje Zagłady. Szkice historyczne i praktyki kulturowe (2017), Jak burgund pod światło…Szkice o Zuzannie Ginczance (2018), Rzeczowy świadek (2019).  She is a member of the Research Center for Memory Cultures JU and the Curatorial Collective.
