Literary scholar, film critic, doctoral student at the Department of Literature and Culture of the Second Half of the Nineteenth Century (Institute of Polish Literature, University of Warsaw). Her research interests include Polish modernist literature, literary criticism and theory, as well as film theory and film criticism. Head of the project "Modernizacje widzenia. Proza polskiego modernizmu wobec nowoczeseniach przekształceń dyskursu wizualnego (1890-1939)" (Modernizations of Seeing. Polish modernist prose in relation to the transformations of visual discourse), in which she researches the migration of visual theory to Polish academic circles and its influence on the development of novel poetics of the first decades of the 20th century. She is a Polish Program Fellow at the University of Toronto, Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. Winner of the first edition of the Professor Ewelina Nurczyńska-Fidelska competition for the best MA thesis on Polish cinema and audiovisual education. Awarded for her critical and film texts in the VI edition of the competition Filmweb "Powiększenie", as well as XXIII and XXIV edition of the contest named after Krzysztof Mętrak for the best critical and film texts.
