Marta Zimniak-Hałajko

Assistant professor at University of Warsaw, post-doctoral degree in cultural studies. Her fields of interests are anthropology and sociology of contemporary culture, particularly new social and religious movements, social utopias and public discourses. Currently she is working on research project on Polish contemporary pro-life cultures. Author of books Paradise Tamed. Anthropology of New Religious Movements (Raj oswojony. Antropologia nowych ruchów religijnych, 2003), Body and Community. On Rightist Imaginaries (Ciało i wspólnota. O prawicowej wyobraźni, 2017).
