Svea Bräunert

She holds a postdoctoral research appointment at the Graduate Program Visibility and Visualization: Hybrid Forms of Pictorial Knowledge at University of Potsdam. She received her PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin with a dissertation Spectral Histories: Leftwing Terrorism and the Arts. Previously, Braeunert was a Fulbright Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Schurman assistant at Cornell University. Her work has appeared in journals, anthologies and exhibition catalogues across Europe and the US, focusing on connections between history, trauma and the arts.
