Michał Szlaga

Born in Gdansk in 1978 where he lives and works. In 2003 graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk achieving a diploma in Phography. Works both as an artist and as a commercial photographer for such magazines as Przekrój, Newsweek Polskaor Twoj Styl. In 2007 he took part in the ”International Photo Awards” winning two first-place awards in categories ”Architecture” and „People”. He is also a prize-winner of many Polish press photography contests. Since 2000 he has been documenting the changing Gdansk Shipyard.
